Greetings from Ms. Mattos!

Greetings Bay Brook Family! My name is Sarah Mattos, and I am the school social worker. I started at Bay Brook last year and have loved getting to know many of you. I want everyone in the school to know that I am here to support you and your family, especially during these stressful times. I am happy to speak with students to provide counseling for issues including anxiety, depression, grief, and bullying. I am also happy to talk to parents about ways to support your children and to share resources that may be helpful. You can reach me at 443-839-0681 during school hours or by emailing me at This year I will also be having daily office hours so that students and parents can pop in to chat or get support. You can join me on zoom any week day from 9 am to 10 at In addition, I will have an intern assisting me this school year. His name is Eddie Pickeral. He is working on his Masters of Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and will be joining me on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I hope you all have a wonderful start to the school year. I look forward to working with you! Sincerely, Sarah Mattos, LCSW-C School Social Worker ___________________________________________________________________________
